This happens to be the first drawing to have cooperated from sketch to lineart to colouring in MONTHS. I haven't been able to draw at all lately, but this one really excited me tremendously once I got started on it. I managed to finish it fairly quickly, making me pretty passionate about art again. Let's hope it stays that way for at least a while. I've been so caught up with things I have to do that it's pressured me into not working on anything I truly want, so that hasn't really made drawing very fun to be honest. I should find a way to balance it bUT YE.
I'm not sure the background is good enough, as per usual, but I'm happy enough! I also don't know if any of you remember Spade, but I do still consider him one of my most developed characters along with the story accompanying him, so I won't ever drop him.
It would seem it co-operated from start to end~ The lighting is just beautiful, and makes him really look alive *v* I can also see improvements in your shading style, on the face in particular the shading looks perf. Something about the background is really nice too, it almost looks like a body of water :0 And of course the flow of his hair is great but you've always been able to pull that off \o/
